EarlyON Child and Family Centres

EarlyON Child and Family Centres provide programming for children and families.  We offer a range of services and resources where you can:

• join fun activities such as storytelling, arts, science, sing-alongs and games
• get advice from professionals trained in early childhood development
• find out about other family services in your community
• connect with other families with young children

Program Descriptions;
Play & Learn: Child-led and a play-based approach to support healthy child development while engaging children and their parents or caregivers.  Sensory experiences, songs, rhymes and stories are provided for continued childhood growth.  Open to children ages 0-6 years old and their families. 
Baby Play: Families with children aged 0-18 months can play, learn and explore.  Parents and caregivers can ask questions related to feeding, growth and development, and community resources.  

The following are monthly highlighted programs that do NOT require registration.

Well Baby with a Public Health Nurse
Parents and caregivers of babies ages 0-18 months attend a Baby Play program to get support with breastfeeding, growth and development, maternal health, and more from a Public Health Nurse.  Drop-in during Baby Play programs in;

Dunnville: Thursday January 2 & 16   
Simcoe: Wednesday January 8, 15, 22, 29

VIRTUAL CIRCLE TIME
Tuesday at 9:00 AM

15-20 Minutes
Join us on Zoom for 15 to 20 minutes of your favourite EarlyON songs, rhymes, and stories to participate along with your littles ones.

First Aid Special Visitor
Join us during Baby Play for a free information session with a first aid instructor who will be available for Q&A on first aid for babies and small children.

Explore Light & Shadow
Are the dark evenings getting you down? Come to the Simcoe & Dunnville EarlyON during evening Play & Learn as we explore light and shadow.
Simcoe: Tuesdays 5:30-7:30 PM
Dunnville: Thursdays 6:00-7:30 PM

Snowman Party
Join us at the Simcoe EarlyON during morning and afternoon Play & Learn on January 30^th for fun snow and snowman activities. 
BONUS in the afternoon (1:30-3:00 PM) come inside and warm up at a hot chocolate bar and you never know who may visit!

Questions About Kindergarten
Join us during Play & Learn for a special visit from a member of the Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board to answer any questions families may have about registering for Kindergarten.

Winter Fun Outdoors
Join us for fresh air and fun! Come and explore winter activities!

Parent & Infant Mother Goose
Parents/Caregivers and their infants aged 0-12 months come together weekly for 5 sessions for conversations, songs & rhymes.

Gym Time
Join us at the gymnasium to focus on helping children to develop their large muscles through gross motor activities.
