One Stop Talk (Virtual Therapy)
About OST:
One Stop Talk is a province-wide initiative designed to provide immediate access to mental health care for children, youth and families in need. The service is available six days a week and offers virtual single session therapy sessions to individuals up to age 18. Services are provided through an integrated network of infant, child and youth mental health agencies across Ontario.
Quick access to single session therapy can be very useful to youth and their families as a place to share concerns and come up with doable next steps that help. Building off youth and family strengths, the idea is to get change in motion or amplify what is already working a bit.
You will receive:
- Therapy from experienced clinicians from across the province;
- In-the-moment access to therapy, no appointment needed;
- Access to One Stop Talk after hours and on weekends;
- A plan for you to take with you after the session that you co-create;
- Direct connection to services in your community within the same visit, as needed; and
- The opportunity to self-select service when it’s right for you.
