Bramble Kids’ Retreat
Bramble Kids Retreat Program: (Birth to 18 years)
Bramble Retreat is a respite home located in the Townsend community. It is designed for children and adults who are diagnosed with a developmental disability are medically fragile and/or technology dependent and require nursing support in their day-to-day care.
Our program is funded and licensed by the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services.
At Bramble Kids’ Retreat we focus on the strengths and competencies of individuals rather than any perceived deficits, thereby encouraging self-confidence. We recognize that everyone has capabilities and needs.
The program is accessible and sensitive to the diversity of families, communities, and cultures.
There is a collaboration of efforts between a contracted Nursing Agency and Haldimand Norfolk REACH staff to deliver a seamless service, meeting the needs of the individual and the family.
Families are key to the planning, design, implementation, and evaluation of our program.
