The Adult and Family Counselling Program provides professional, caring and confidential therapy to individuals, couples and families. Therapists are experienced at helping people work through issues in a timely manner, using an approach that focuses on solutions. Assistance is available for issues such as anger, anxiety, depression, grief, conflict, separation/divorce, self-esteem, sexual issues and domestic violence.
Eligibility
Women 16 and older who have experienced emotional, physical or sexual abuse are eligible for subsidized service.
Families actively involved with the Children's Aid Society of H&N may qualify for subsidized service by speaking to their worker.
For all other subsidized service you must be a resident of Haldimand or Norfolk County and be 18 years or older.
Cost
For women who have experienced abuse, there is no cost.
For all others, the fee is assessed based on income and is between $0 and $90.00 per hour.

Single Session Therapy Clinic
- For personal, emotional or relationship challenges
- Support at the right time to find solutions that are right for you
- Those found eligible will receive a
- A 90-minute session with the option of an additional follow up session
- By appointment only
- Tuesdays from 12 - 6 pm in Townsend
Am I Eligible?
Eligibility for this program is based on household income and family size. Those lower-income households including those on Ontario Works, and Ontario Disability are eligible.
Cost
There is no fee for this service if found eligible.

We offer the first available face to face appointment time, typically within one to two weeks.
