One Stop Talk
One Stop Talk is a province-wide initiative designed to provide immediate access to mental health care for children, youth and families in need. The service is available six days a week and offers virtual single session therapy sessions to individuals up to age 18 and their families. Services are provided through an integrated network of infant, child and youth mental health agencies across Ontario.
Quick access to single session therapy can be very useful to youth and their families as a place to share concerns and come up with doable next steps that help. Building off youth and family strengths, the idea is to get change in motion or amplify what is already working a bit.
The addition of One Stop Talk means children, youth and families throughout Haldimand, Norfolk and neighbouring communities will have access to virtual single session therapy six days a week alongside H-N REACH’s in person Walk-in Therapy Clinic offered Tuesdays out of their main office.
Youth and caregivers can access One Stop Talk by visiting the website at www.onestoptalk.ca or by calling 1-855-416-TALK. The service is available Monday to Friday 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Saturdays 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
