leo accepting trilliumFarm to School - The Farm to School Project brings fresh, locally grown produce into two Dunnville elementary schools.  The project started in September 2010.  Student nutrition programs at Dunnville Central and Thompson Creek Elementary schools have access to locally grown vegetables and fruit.

The Farm to School pilot project was made possible in part by a grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation to the Child Nutrition Network. Other partners include The Salvation Army, Dunnville Central Public School, Dunnville Farmers' Market, Haldimand County, Haldimand Norfolk Health Unit, Haldimand Norfolk REACH, Ontario Power Generation, local greenhouse growers, and Thompson Creek Elementary School.
